Band bios

Giuda is a five-piece band from Rome, Italy, that play an air-punching mix of anthemic ‘70s rock hooks delivered with the brutal force of early UK punk, all interpreted in a contemporary and original way with relevance for today’s discerning listener.

The story of Giuda begins in 2007 and is inextricably connected with that of Rome’s seminal punk rock band Taxi. When Taxi’s career was cut short by the tragic passing of their drummer, singer Ntenda, lead guitarist Lorenzo and bassist (then drummer) Danilo regrouped as Giuda. The lineup is completed by guitarist Michele, adding a second layer of boogie sparks to the mix, and new drummer Alex, who recently replaced Daniele.

Fuelled by the sounds of bands like Slade, Glitter Band, Hector, Third World War and Slaughter & The Dogs, Giuda offer fresh, powerful rock and roll with attitude in spades.

Their debut album “Racey Roller”, famously described by Robin Wills (The Barracudas) as, “Cock Sparrer twinned with the Equals”, was graced with iconic cover art courtesy of French designer and glam fanatic Tony CrazeeKid, and quickly became an underground sensation. Highly praised by publications as diverse as Mojo, The Guardian, Uncut, Rolling Stone, Vice (album of the year) and Maximum Rock’n’Roll, the album remains a true cult classic and an inspiration to the numerous hordes of bovver rockers currently following in Giuda’s wake.

From their debut album release up until the present day, the band has completed several European tours and five USA/North American tours, playing around 400 gigs in total, including triumphant appearances at many major festivals such as Rebellion (Blackpool, UK), PunkRock Bowling (Las Vegas, USA) and Hell Fest (France).

The Dragons

The Dragons began back in 1991 in San Diego California. Three months later after playing the first of 11 South By Southwest Music Conference Showcases the band released a Vinyl E-P called "X" for a label in Spain called Impossible Records. A year later they followed with a single for poptone records which put them on the map in San Diego.

In 1996 The Dragons Recorded "Painkiller" for Scam-O-Rama records owned by the infamous "InebriaTED" who discovered the band as writer for Flipside Magazine in Los Angeles. Two years later in The Dragons signed a deal with Junk Records from Long Beach with Louie Carus and the "Black Devil" himself and released "Cheers To Me", "R.L.F" and "Kamikaze" in three consecutive years. They followed that with a Japanese Only Release "The Dragons" and toured Japan (Kenny's Homeland).

In 2003 The Dragons signed with Gearhead Records with the "Master Mechanic himself" Mike LaVella and Michelle Haunold and released "Sin Salvation" and then followed that with a remixed and remastered "RockNRoll Kamikaze".

Hammered Satin

Hammered Satin is a "Junkshop Glam" style Rock N Roll Band from Los Angeles. They formed in late 2010. As soon as 2011 they opened for the glam rock supergroup, The Ark, touring in Sweden. Rolling Stone Magazine premiered their music video for Foxy Dude which was filmed in New York City. The song is off their debut album on Burger Records, entitled, Glamorama. Foxy Dude made number 19 on Rolling Stone and Yahoo! Musics top 20 music videos of 2014. In 2016 Hammered Satin were drawn as cartoons in a episode of Mr. Peabody and Sherman performing their song Joan of Arc. A number of their songs have been played on the Rodney Bingenheimer Radio Show and TV shows such as Showtime’s, Dice. The band has toured the US, Europe, and Canada since the album’s release and will return to Europe this August 2018.

Since Glamorama, Hammered Satin has released a number of 7” 45 type vinyl singles that look identical to a Junkshop Glam 70’s picture sleeve. Songs like Strawberries N’ Cream, UFO, Reptilian, Good Little Girl, Lavender Lightning Lady, Upward Spiral and the new 2018 release Silver Streak are all meticulously recorded to sound as if they were from the 70’s in an effort to stay true to the underground rock n roll agenda. Which holds a great deal of significance to their fans and the band members themselves. Core members have always been lead vocalist Noah Wallace, lead guitarist Conor Behrle and bassist Dan Sandvick. Now new additions have been made to the 2018 lineup with Elizabeth Boyd on second guitar and Victor Penalosa on drums.

“They are embodying the sound of the 70’s rockers. With a singer who is taking influences from David Bowie and Robert Plant. You’ve got subtle yet ever important bass lines with guitar solos that should make Deep Purple proud. You can hear Thin Lizzy, Bowie, and a bit of the Ramones. They may look glam on stage, but don’t be fooled - they will knock you out cold with one single blast of their guitars.”
